BACKGROUND: The A. Flores Serie Privada was released in 2012 in two wrapper types: the red label sports an Ecuadorian Habano and the blue label an Ecuadorian Habano Maduro. Both cigars are comprised of Nicaraguan Habano binders as well as Nicaraguan Habano and Dominican Corojo filler.
The cigar band has the year 1975 stamped in the center, which signifies the year that brand owner and master blender Abe Flores was born.
Said Flores, “[The Serie Privada] offers the consumer a great smoking experience in terms of blend, packaging, and pricing.”
The Serie Privada cigars are all boxed-pressed and are available in 24 count boxes featuring three vitolas. The line carries an MSRP range from $9.75 to $12.75 per stick.

FEATURED LIBATION: Rogue Dead Guy Whiskey
Rogue Dead Guy whiskey is distilled from the sweet wort of the Dead Guy Ale. The sweet wort has distiller’s yeast added to it then is fermented for 7 days and then distilled in a 500 gallon copper whiskey still. The resulting whiskey is placed into barrels and then ocean-aged by both the Pacific Ocean and nearby Yaquina Bay.
