BACKGROUND: Intemperance is presented in two wrapper varietals; an Ecuadorian Connecticut-wrapped version called the EC XVIII and a Brazilian Arapiraca-wrapped BA XXI.
The BA stands for Brazil Arapiraca and the Roman numeral XXI represents the 21st Amendment to the Constitution of the United States, that which repealed prohibition.
The Intemperance is produced in the RoMa Craft Esteli, Nicaragua factory: NicaSueño and comes in 5 sizes. This week’s featured cigar is the 6.5-inch by 44 ring gauge Lonsdale.

The coffee beans used in the Intemperance Cigar Blend Coffee are being grown in Nicaragua at an altitude of 1,100m. The selection, roast, grind, and packaging is completed under the supervision of Colin Ganley of Twin Engine Coffee Company in Nicaragua.

I first featured the 4-19 Torpedo in Episode 356 on Sunday, March 24, 2013. These cigars have been resting peacefully for 1 year, 9 months and 8 days and I pulled out my final samples for this review.
