Episode 437: La Flor Dominicana 1994


BACKGROUND: In early 2014, La Flor Dominicana announced the release of a cigar commemorating Litto and Ines Gomez’s 20 years in the cigar business. It would be called the La Flor Dominicana 1994.


For many years, Litto set aside tobacco in anticipation of this very special blend to commemorate their 20th anniversary. The fillers and binder are grown on the La Flor Dominicana farm in the Dominican Republic and are complemented with a Mexican San Andrés wrapper. This blend is as special as the occasion it serves to commemorate and is symbolic of the quality and pride with which La Flor Dominicana has built its name.

MSRP prices run from $7.50 to $8.30 per stick, depending on the size. The cigars come in 5 sizes and the cigar I’m featuring today is the 6-inch by 54 ring gauge 20th Anniversary Toro.
