DESCRIPTION: The latest Vintage blend from Rocky Patel, the 2003 Cameroon, was introduced in the summer of 2011 and features a striking African Cameroon wrapper that surrounds an 8-year-old Nicaraguan binder and 8-year aged filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. Ostensibly, the filler and binder tobaccos all come from the 2003 Vintage. The Vintage 2003 is purported to be a powerhouse of flavor and is said to be fuller in body than the majority of the vintage offerings.
This week’s review will feature the 5.5-inch by 50 ring gauge Vintage 2003 Robusto.
FEATURED LIBATION: Havana Port from Paso Port Wine Company
This week’s featured libation is a tawny style port blended then aged in retired Cognac barrels prior to bottling. This port was blended to pair perfectly with a cigar and it turns out that winemaker Steve is a cigar smoker and he wanted something to drink along with a good stogie.
Only 120 cases of the Havana blend were produced. This is a blend that uses Portuguese varietal grapes grown in the Paso Robles appellation or what is called the Paso Robles AVA: American Viticultural Area. The wine weighs in at 19% ABV

DOC’S CIGAR POSTSCRIPT: Camacho 2011 Liberty
This week’s postscript review is on the Camacho 2011 Liberty, which I first featured on the Stogie Fresh 5 podcast in Episode 290 back on Sunday, October 9, 2011. These cigars have been resting in the Stogie Fresh humidor for 1 year, 5 months and 26 days and I pulled out my very last sample for this postscript review.
