BACKGROUND: Nomad Cigar Company, Inc. was founded in 2012 by Fred Rewey, who introduced his first line of Nomad cigars in March of that same year. Nomad’s flagship cigar is called the “Fugitive.” This was the cigar that started it all for Rewey and Nomad Cigar Company. This Limited Edition stick is all but impossible to get your hands on these days, and yet, it is made from the same basic blend as the rest of the Nomad portfolio of cigars.
This 2012 Limited Edition Perfecto is 5.875-inches in length with a max ring size of 64.
FEATURED LIBATION: Blanton’s Single Barrel Bourbon
Bourbon has been enjoyed for centuries, but single barrel bourbon only dates back to 1984, when the owners of Ancient Age Distillery (now called Buffalo Trace Distillery) set out to create a premium quality product. In the process, they revolutionized the industry. In 1984, Blanton’s became the first American entry into the ultra-premium whiskey market. Today, most distilleries offer one or more single barrel bottlings, but Blanton’s was the first.
