BACKGROUND: Litto Gomez has brought many fine cigars to the public over they years, but the Mysterio is one of his prized possessions and is but one of the many fantastic premium cigars coming out of the Dominican Republic today. Made by the most skilled torcedores in the La Flor factory, the Mysterio represents the very pinnacle of the art of cigar-making.
Today I’m reviewing the Ligero Mysterio Oscuro. This cigar has Dominican filler tobaccos from Gomez’ La Canela farms and covered in a dark Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper with two small flaps of Connecticut shade tobacco on the head and foot of the cigar. This week’s featured stick is the 7-inch by 54 ring Mysterio Oscuro Double Corona (Perfecto).
